As the Universal Church looks toward the Jubilee Year 2025, we are inviting parish choirs from the Diocese of Metuchen to come to St. Augustine’s to sing your favorite anthem/hymn/song for Ordinary Time.
We can think of no better way to celebrate the Feast of St. Cecilia, the patron saint of musicians, whose feast day is on November 22, than to come together to sing for and with each other.
We will conclude by joining together to sing The 2025 Jubilee Hymn, Pilgrims of Hope, which can be downloaded free of charge at https://www.iubilaeum2025.va/en/giubileo-2025/inno-giubileo-2025.html. The Vatican invites all of us to use the hymn as widely as possible and in liturgical assemblies.
